1990s vintage St-Martins designer Geisha skirt with gorgeous embroidery and Japanese geiko lady motif, plus unique underskirt design pattern.
The Geisha is a symbol of beauty and mystery, representing feminine power and intrigue.
This is a really unique design by Danish fashion house St-Martins and one you definitely won't see mass produced.
The pale grey-blue skirt has different "shades of grey" panels sewed at an angle, from a darker shade at the waist, down to a lighter shade of grey.
The main focus, on the skirt's left front, is a cute Geisha girl printed on, with 2 pretty fans, and her mouth and cheeks represented by beautiful embroidery.
The skirt is fastened at the back by an invisible grey zip – plus a hook and eye, and there is a false pocket as well as a back pleat for ease of movement.
What is really unique, too, is the underskirt lining in black, grey and light pink, featuring a pretty bird hovering over a lovely abstract landscape.
